This has a story.
A publication in made entirely from found and scrap materials, presenting 16 stories of meaningful objects.
Consider your belongings, what you buy, and what you choose to throw “away”. With the green-washing of the recycling industry as motivation, the goal of this project was to create a publication printed solely on found and scrap paper. And printed on the “pre-loved” paper are the stories of various objects that hold immense meaning and importance in people’s lives.
The book is an attempt to create conversation about our addiction to “stuff ”. Not only does the publication have potential to inspire designers to create more emotionally durable products, but it also provides tools that we, the consumers, can use to change our habits and consumption patterns.
